Today, 14 May 2019 makes 4 years since I received the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
I saw Dr Shah, my oncologist and then had a late breakfast at Bob Evans.
The labs and CT scan show I continue to be free of recurrence.
I felt something was off and got to the doctor. 7 1/2 weeks after the 1st visit I had a diagnosis of a Stage IB tumor confined to the head of the pancreas. It took a second biopsy during an ERCP on 10 May to replace the bile duct stents, places 24 April, that had collapsed. The 1st biopsy was inconclusive.
My main symptom was painless jaundice and all that entailed.
