10 yr old son still sleeping w/Dad

I find it very disturbing that a 10 year old who has his own bedroom right next door to Dad's feels the need to continue to sleep with dad.  Four years ago when his Mom passed away it was acceptable/understandable.  But at this point I feel it is doing more harm than good.  Suggestions?

Thank you for your comments!  It maybe common in other countries but not here in the states.  I feel there are other issues here that are not helping either one of them.  A wife/mother is gone get some help to deal with the grief and understand it and how to go on w/o her!  Dad is encouraging his son in feeling it is all about them!  So God forbid if something happens to Dad!!!  While son is really milking the death of Mom cuz he just doesn't like sleeping alone!  The sister doesn't have these issues.  It needs to be addressed & I have tried & will continue to.

I think it is up to them, if Dad doesnt mind and they both want to share the same bed , what is the problem unless you feel something could occur.Depending on your relationship to them it may be aswell to speak to the father and tell him how you feel .Usually this co sleeping stops when puberty kicks in which should be in the next year or so .Many people in many countries share a bed ,its fairly normal ..
