what is wrong with my child

My son is 6 years old and is currently being investigated for having autism (mild) and ocd.  He has been poorly for a number of weeks now... firstly with headaches and sickness, then came raging temperature for 4 days...a rash lasting one day.  Now the sickness is back its been three weeks since the begining of the illness, he has chroic severe pain in his stomache, not eaten for four days, he has been to the drs several times and ive been told its viral possibly linking stomach pains to his autism ???!  This week again he is being sick, with a sore tummy but has foul smelling (ordinary consistency) but pale creamy beige poos !! He has been given anti sickness tablets by the dr yesterday and is going back on friday again to see how he is progressing.... has anyone experienced this in their child??? Any one any ideas???

Sounds alot like my son, and it turned out he has a severe dairy allergy. As Lynn164 says, it sounds automimmune (ie allergy).

Is he having nothing but milk since he is so sick by any chance? I did that to try and get calories into him because he would frequently spike high fevers and throw up. Now that he is off dairy he has no fever episodes and his sensory and emotional issues are GONE. It couldn't hurt to try removing dairy for just a couple of days to try it, it was a MIRACLE for us.

This child has clear symptoms of an inflammatory bowel disease which may be related to antibiotic use, parasites, or even an autoimmune disorder such as ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease. I would have her evaulated  by an pediatric gastroenterologist.
