baby sleeping

Hey yall! So my baby girl has been fighting sleep every night to the bitter end! I cant get her to sleep until 3 or 4 am): so i recently bought johnson & johnson bedtime bath. I used it for the first time the day before yesterday and she slept so good. So last night there was nothing i could do to get her to sleep. So around 3:30 am i broke down n gave her a bath, nursed her after and she fell asleep for a 6 hour stretch! Oh and shes a month old btw. So my question is, is it too harsh on her skin to give her a bath EVERY night? Its the only thing that seems to help. Also any other suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I totally feel for you. I think it is recommended to only give young babies a bath 2-3 times a week. Does Johnson and johnson have a similar bedtime lotion instead? Just a suggestion. Otherwise you can try the every night bath and see if it dries out her skin. If it doesn't then I would just keep bath time in your nighttime routine.

I don't think so, I actually think it's recommended to have a routine before bed, and if a bath calms them to include it. If it works, do it! Can't be too clean! :)
