is this normal?

Hi, my period normally comes at the end of the month. In the beginning of September I had a surgery done, I got gall stones and my gall bladder removed along with my appendix and cysts off of my ovaries and I've not seen my period for the month of September and I'm having an increase in appetite. can I be pregnant or is the missed period a side effect from the surgery?

Hi there, I had my gall bladder removed a couple of years ago as well, afterwards I did not have a period for five months! I went to the doc, and she said it was normal after major surgery for the body to take time to adjust and go back to normal. Hope that helps. X
