It is not good. I actually went 9 months with no period even after multiple progesterone cycles and shots. They actually done an ultrasound to make sure i wasn't developing uterine cancer. Come to find out the progesterone didn't make me start my period, but forced me to ovulate and now i am almost 9 weeks pregnant :) didn't even know until the ultrasound. Talk to your endocrinologist or a diff doc.
HI,
Not getting periods for a prolonged time is not good. It is necessary to induce periods every two months so that the endometrial lining is shed. This can be done with the help of progestins, if you do not wish to take birth control pills.
Hope this helps.
