Hi! I understand your issues as I never get my period unless I use birth control. Pretty sure I have PCOS but haven't been diagnosed. I was put on birth control but gained so much weight (I was already having weight issues because of the hormone issues). I told my doctor I did not want to be on birth control anymore! She prescribed me progesterone to regulate my period instead. Every 3 months you take pills for 10 days and viola you get a period. If you are planning to conceive, birth control will delay that since it can take time to adjust once you are off of it.
How about seeing an endocrinologist?
hey, you are almost the same situation as me. my period is just not regular, then somehow diagnosed with PCOS. i spent almost 1/2 of my salary to find a remedy way but failed again and again. the last way is to take BC pills life long, which sounds horrible for me.
