Most doctors start considering surgically removing cysts once they grow past 5cm. The doctor might try monitoring them for a few cycles or weeks to see if they shrink or grow. You might be given medication to help you get your period if you have irregular periods, since that helps in shrinking the cysts. Good luck and please don't hesitate to ask your doctor lots of questions!
