Hi Everyone,
I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 2 months ago. I have been getting a very dull sometimes sharp pain in far right side of my abdomen. The pain is not palpable. Well let me back up a bit. I was diagnosed by my endocrinologist after blood tests. However, my testosterone level was well within range which is in sharp contrast to what she said. She based my diagnosis on my testosterone level and without films. I visited my OB-Gyn who order a pelvic ultrasound. I had this done last Tues. I have not heard anything yet and I am not scheduled to see him for another week. I figure no news is good news. The pain has not stopped and I have noticed that it increases after I eat bread or wheat and anything with milk. Seriously, it leaves me bedridden and running to the bathroom. I have made an appt to see the Gastroenterologist.
Although PCOS can manifests itself differently in each individual, has anyone had constant pain in either side of the abdomen that was definitely attributed to PCOS? I am starting to believe that I may have a serious digestive problem
