PCOS URGENT,I CNT SLEEP

Thanks for the welcome message,
I'm so glad for this forum,God bless the founder,
I am 24 years old and I  was disgnosed with pcos early 2008 and was placed on contraceptive pills and my period beacame regular, after 3months I stoped taking the pills and my period has been regular through out this year up until this month.
I missed my period and went for a test which was negative, I also went for an ultrasound which i do not understand, here is what the results look like.

(The bladder, uterus are normal)now check this out.

OVARIES:Both Ovaried are at the Upper Limits of normal size and have dense stroma,The left ovary contains degenerating remnants of a large Follicle,The right ovary contains tiny peripherally arranged Follicles.

I'm really freaking out now and I need to have an idea before my next visit to the gyna.

Thank u.

If your in the UK, I have found the public NHS to be absolutely USELESS....there was nothing they could do for me-prob cos they are FREE....GRR
So I went to a PRIVATE DOC...Mine cost 210 per app but he is really good.
I think having PCOS, for me...I duno you but I think it is better going private cos you are better looked after.
Go and see a private dr for all the answers if you don't have one already.
:)
So, my advice like nickieb85 is quick smart make an appointment, if you are worried about it then it's better to have an explanation for it isn't it.
Take care.xx

No one here is legally allowed to give you any medical advice and I have no idea about your sono and would definitely call your doc. We chickies with pcos can skip periods for no reason (well there is always a med reason for everything) so I would call and check with your doc!

I would definitely call your doctor and ask what it means. None of us are by any means doctors...
