PCOS suspicions....

Hi ladies!! I am not new to the pcos community I just have not been on mh in a very long time. I have been ttc for a little over a year now with no success. I never thought anything was wrong I just thought I had bad timing. I started doing research and asking questions on mh and I have come across a few things.  One of the things is pcos. My cycles are pretty regular. They are about 27 days apart. I wouldn't say they are heavy. I go through 2-4 pads a day( don't know if that's normal). I actually lost weight. I went from 253 to 202 ( i was on weight watchers and got sick due to gallbladder surgery) However, when I went to the dr 2w ago I gained 4lbs. It's not a big jump but I did gain. When it comes to the hair growth, I have Hair above my lip as if it were a mustache. It's not visible unless you are real close to me. I get it waxed every month. This really bothers me. I feel so embarrassed having to go and get it waxed. I don't have hair on my neck but I do have little whiskers. I have four of them spread across my neck. I usually get a razor and shave them off but they just grow back ugh. Tell me ladies what do you all think??

I'm just getting back to you I forgot about this post for some reason. Actually in April 2011 I was diagnosed with pcos. I have been doing my opk and I found out I didnt ovulate so my OB prescribed me clomid and this is my first cycle taking it.  I'll see howit goes.

Hi there!

Well, it would be difficult to decide based on these symptoms, though if you have regular cycles PCOS seems unlikely. You may however consider consulting a primary care physician about the symptoms you are concerned about.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
