Scared about results

I found out I had pcos at age 17 (ish) and found out I dont ovulate about 2 month's ago ... I was sent to a specialist and have to have a number of blood tests, scans etc and I must be honest im
Really worried im going to have bad news.

Ive had blood taken on day 2 of my cycle and have to go again on day 21 ... (I had to take tablets to have period)

I have a internal scan tommorrow im guessing this will be to see if the metformin ive been taking has had any effect (taking metformin about a year) has anybody else had to go down this
Route what happens if there hasnt been any improvement? ... Im lay in bed in tears thinking its never going to happen for us ...

Hi dont try to stress too much i also have PCOS and i have had 2 beautiful girls which they told me i should never have had. I also did the blood tets and the scans and like the other comment showed nothing. I went back to the doctor and told him i knew there was something wrong and i ended up going in for a internal camera scan and thats when they found the cycsts, my ovaries are have so many that i still have my doctor dumb founded that i fell pregnant, so please dont worry just because they say you may not be able to have kids trust me i bet the odds and now have 2 of them. Good Luck with everthing

Hi there,
I too have had many blood tests taken, along with an ultrasound done.  My blood tests all came back normal, except for the testosterone of which was high.  That is when they diagnosed me with PCOS.  I had the ultrasound done after all of my blood tests, and that came back normal.  I was able to concieve one child with no medication assistance.  Try not to think negatively, I know harder said than done, but your not alone and it will happen for you.  Good luck!
