Hi Trixy25,

I was also stunned when my doctor told me, I never had any issues but I was on teh birth control pill from age 16 until 26. I went off the bc pill when I married my husband in Dec. 2008, I didnt get a period for 10 months, finally my doctor's started doing bloodwork, I had elevated levels of testosterone but I did not have any weight gain, facial hair or any other symtpoms besides abnormal to no periods. Once they did an U/S of my oviaries they saw the cysts and determined that I had PCOS. I am also 5 foot tall and 117 pounds. I am now in the process of seeing an infertility doctor to become pregnant, since my ovulation is all out of wack. I just completed my first cycle of clomid and am awaiting an ovulation.

I hope this helps. Best of luck!

Yes you could still have pcos. You don't have to have the text book symptoms of it. Every woman that has PCOS has different symptoms, and some are not even the normal ones. I suggest to get an ultrasound. You might have a cyst that is preventing your period from showing up.
