bleeding every day or every other day

I'm 16 I started my cycle at 13 I've been on the pill to help with my severe cramps and around January 2012 I had a break through period that should have not been there I went to the ob gyn and they said I was still developing and it should be fine, but it never fixed itself from then to now I've been on depo which didn't work, estradiol, and the implanon, which all have not worked. I have been bleeding every day or every other day out of the year. I can't use tampons because within 3 minutes it's full, pads last a hour and it's disrupting my life I've missed school because it's been so heavy that I'sat on the toilet watching it go like a faucet for hours. It pops up whenever and i can sometimes go 3 days without bleeding. One day i bled for 6 hrs straight. Should i see an expert is this dangerous am i loosing ewill i be able to have children when I'm older??

My doctor wants to do blood tests to make sure I'm not anemic due to the blood lost and has emailed me about contacting me with a specialist in this area.

Yes, see a different doctor at the very least--a gynecologist, preferably.  You are bleeding way too much.  It's considered concerning when you fill a tampon/pad in two hours.
