What could this be???

Hello, I'm 19 years old and I'm having some major irregularities. I haven't had my period in about two months and a couple of days ago I started to have a very dull pain in my lower right side near my hip. I have experienced this sort of pain before, but it didn't last for more than one day. I've always had irregular periods, but the pain at my hip is scaring me. When I do have my period, it can last up to about 20 days. Also, I am not pregnant.

Your bleeding entirely too long and need to have this checked out. The pain could be due to a cyst which could be causing the period irregularities and prolonged bleeding, but I am not a doctor and obviously there could be many other issues causing this. I wouldn't ignore it. You need to figure out what's going on. See your gyno soon.

See your doctor. Any abnormal bleeding needs to be check out. Also a normal period should not last more then 8 days.
