When I got married last year my husband stated that he was ready to have a baby I was so happy cause I have always been ready to have another baby. I have 11 year old and she always ask me for another baby. So we been trying for a few months now and I been on treatment before with ex but no luck. Now with my husband we are doing everything to the book so that we can make it happen, he is not the problem I am both of our ex have kids and I was with my ex for 5 year before he cheated on me and I found out that two months after he left me she was prego. My husband ex has two baby since they been broken up. And doctor told me that he was check out better then what he had thought so they put me on CLomid and now has uped up my to 100mg because 50mg didnt work for me that last 5 times. I been on and off them this is the first time i have been on them month to month. So I am hoping all goes well this time. I am also going to try pre-seed I hear it works well with cloimd. so will see.

Last week when I went to my doctor he told me it flet like I was prego but did a blood work to see how far alone I was and got a BFN so he put me on provrea. Ok I will go now been talking to much. But thanks and will see what happends thanks for giving me hope. :)
Hi I have PCOS also and wasn't diagnosed with it until I had to start seeing a fertility specialist in June of last year. Well we did shots and more shots and to no avail. My problem is my weight...If i don't weigh less that 145 pounds I don't have periods at all... Well I dropped 20 pounds in the last few months and stopped the shots in November... and in dec I got pregnant and am now 8 1/2 weeks... It definitely can happen if you don't have any other complications (such as diabetes)... I wish you the best of luck :)
Wow this is something for me to think about, I thank you all for your input, I don't know about the "Ovarian drilling" I would like to ask my doctor a lil more on IUI and see if we can do that and see if I can get covered for that. thanks so much and I will keep you posted.. SSBD*******
"Surgery. "Ovarian drilling" is a surgery that brings on ovulation. It is sometimes used when a woman does not respond to fertility medicines. The doctor makes a very small cut above or below the navel and inserts a small tool that acts like a telescope into the abdomen. This is called laparoscopy. The doctor then punctures the ovary with a small needle carrying an electric current to destroy a small portion of the ovary. This procedure carries a risk of developing scar tissue on the ovary. This surgery can lower male hormone levels and help with ovulation. But these effects may only last a few months. This treatment doesn't help with loss of scalp hair and increased hair growth on other parts of the body."

will health insurance cover any of this or is it pretty much out of pocket?
yes you have to have your lining checked to make sure it is thick enough for a egg to implant... follitism was the injectable I took I had 3 follicles and iui and one stuck!!!
i didnt even know that was a possibility with clomid what injectables are you refering to?
I got pg the second cycle of injectabes.. good luck
Wow that is crazy I heard that alot, that it thinned out the lining of so many. I dont want to take it any more I have to find another way to have a baby. I don't like taking med and stuff... I pray alot for god to hear me one day. I know its not easy.

pcos is not just a fertility problem it affects pretty much all aspects of your life . my hubby and i have been ttc for two years but w no ins. i had to get creative so i did my homework and found out that specific diet low gi foods(as if u were a diabetic) exercise accupuncture and herbs can be really succesfull. well i have been doin that now for about 4 months still w no period or pregnancy but i have lost about 20lbs and am trying to be hopefull. our ins. finally kicked but i now have to wait for a dr. appt till febuary
it took me 3 years without meds. i lost about 30 lbs right before i got pregnant. so i guess it helps to loose weight if you have pcos and TTC.
THANKS DO MUCH I HAD STOPPED WORKING OUT BUT AS OF TOMORROW...I WILL BE BACK TO ATLEAST 3 DAYS A WEEK AND EATING BETTER...THANKS I HAVE PCOS AND FIBROIDS
Hi Sobie
Yes it is possible. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18, I didn't really understand it at all and didn't seek any real treatment, other than trying to lose a bit of weight and keep fit. I took no contraception and didn't fall pregnant, until I started exercising really, really hard, like 4 hours a day and whammo next thing I was Preggers!
I used the same method to conceive my second son and it worked, so for me undertaking a strenous exercise regime worked wonders.
Could be worth a try.
I never did have any side effects that I'm aware of but i truely recomend it! I wish you the best and keep me informed till u get a BFP!
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I never heard of Letrazole what kind of side effects does it have? I will ask my doctor about it he is very open with us. I will hope that something works and sticks. I have try clomid and I thought it work last month but I didnt get a BFP so I guess not. But I wish you all the best and *****SSBD*****
