plus size TTC after nexplanon

I had my nexplanon implant removed as of July 1st 2016 before nexplanon I had an IUD for a year and a half. It seems as if I just have finished my period as of July 8th 2016. I did not bleed on nexplanon at all until later that night it was removed. I only had nexplanon in for 3 months (was put in as of April 5th 2016) the baby fever grew even stronger while I was on nexplanon. I have been taking OPK'S since July 2nd. according to the app I have been using it states I'm most likely due to ovulate between the 15th and 20th. Is it normal to have a full period after the birth control removal? I am new to all of this so I'm not sure what I should do to increase my chances of conceiving. The day I got the nexplanon removed the OB told me I should start taking prenatal vitamins If I was planing to convieve. I would love to hear all an any input. Thanks so much.

Everyone is different but I was on the same birth control and it took me 2 months to get pregnant! Sadly that ended in a miscarrage at only 4 weeks! I'm not sure if that was due to the birth control or what but I think the best thing is to just relax and let it happen when it's supposed to! They say you can get pg right away and in my opinion your body needs some time to adjust especially after not having a reg period for awhile! Good luck

I'm so sorry to hear boutique your loss. I has a regular period on the IUD it ended up shifting and caused pain. I went and got the IUD taken out due to the pain and I was not planing on getting another contraceptive but I panicked and got the nexplanon. I took 2 pregnancy tests but I have no mom to talk to or anyone so that's so much for replying.
