lower abdominal pain-18 weeks pregnant

Hi all, I've got a constant dull pain in my lower stomach,  like period pain. I've taken one paracetamol which isn't doing anything though it's not getting any worse.  I think I had this with previous pregnancies but can't remember.  Has anyone else experienced this and did you get checked?
Thanks

Thanks for your replies, it gradually went and couldn't get through to the gp to make an appointment!  So presuming it is the round ligament pain.

I've been having the same ache that feels like my period is going to start. I assumed it was round ligament pain. I don't know how your body won't hurt with rate of growth.

Keep us posted.  The issue with pain during pregnancy is it can have benign (mostly the case) causes but it can also signal a problem.  The only way to know is to be seen by a professional.

Could be round ligament pain, could be something else.  If you are concerned the best thing to do is call your dr/midwife for advise since they know your medical history and have been following you
