28 weeks and lost my mucus plug

Hi and congrats on week 28. I personally haven't had this happen but I guess it just depends on moms body and baby. I have read where women hav lost their mucus plug early in and still didn't go into active labor until weeks later. Was it the whole thing or pieces. Read one mom was losing hers in pieces and still went on to be 30+ weeks before her lil bundle of joy arrived. I would notify my Dr if I were you just to be sure and see if you are dialated. Has your water broken!?! If no you're still good too :-) good luck and hope this helped a lil
