Pregnant after Endometrial Ablation

I am 9 weeks pregnant after having and endometrial ablation (Novasure) in December 2008.  I have told my OB about the procedure and they have done an ultrasound confirming, so far, a healthy pregnancy. When I read about the complications of this type of pregnancy , I am terrified!  But my doctor says " relax....everything is going normally!"  I can't relax....i can't sleep....and I am scared!  I am looking for initial signs for problems and tests I can have done to closely monitor my pregnancy for any signs of danger to my and/or the baby's health.  I do not have a lot of choices for doctors, due to the fact I am not currently residing in the United States, I am in the Middle East.  I need to proactively do my own research and become educated on what I need to do.  Because I have read what I can, I know that miscarriage and preterm labor are my first concerns. Later, I need to watch for an adherent placenta....but this is all I can find.  I simply need more information about screening tests to demand of the doctors here and when should I do them.  Any information, advice from those who have been pregnant after ablation, truly any information anyone has to share would be greatly appreciated.

I have not had an ablation, so I can't really be of any help there.

You have done your homework and know that yes, there are risks associated with this.  Most Dr.'s won't do ablation until after a women has confirmed she isn't attempting pregnancy again.  That being said, the fact that you are aware is good.  Now all you can do is wait it out.  There are women out there who have had successful pregnancies and healthy babies after this procedure.  We meet them on this forum from time to time.  Stay alert, but try not to over stress (I know, much easier said then done).  Things are progressing normally right now, and that is cause for celebration.  I would ensure that your Dr. is treating you as a high risk patient and extra monitoring is probably a good idea.  I wish you success and please keep us posted.
