Drinking before knowing you were pregnant

I would like to know if anyone has had this happen......I haven't started my period yet(suppose to start today) The other day I woke up feeling a little differet so I took a hpt and it was postitve. I usually have 2 glasses of wine with dinner sometimes 3. A couple of weeks ago I had long weekend with old friends drinking mostly wine but a couple of cocktails in between. Have I done harm to the baby?

The day before I found out I was pregnant I had eggs benedict for breakfast (raw egg is supposedly a no no), sushi for lunch (another nono) and a couple of beers for dinner.

Yup...with my first (who is almost 20 years old) I was a student at Arizona State and she was unplanned. Need I say more? LOL. I've smoked marijuana twice in my whole life, and one of those times I was pregnant with her and didn't know it. I found out I was pregnant when I was about seven weeks along...everything was fine, she's healthy and she's always been smart as a whip. Don't worry yourself!

:) It happens!!! With my youngest, we were trying, so I tested on day AF was due, and BFN, so I went out and got rip roaring drunk (a Christmas party, and I was so lit I actually fell down, how embarrassing), 5 days later, no AF, and BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You're fine, just take care of yourself now that you know!

This happened to me, I was pretty sure that we hadn't succeeded that month took a hpt got a negative, had a few margaritas (and a hot tub).  Sunday wanted to go in the hot tub again but thought I'd better check and what do you know, I got a hpt+ on day 10..... as far as I can tell neither or the hot tub or the margaritas affected her.  

Of course from then on there was no hot tubbing or drinks for me :(

it's OK if you drank before finding out you were preggo. because in the first couple weeks of conception the baby does'nt have a placenta for the alcahol to go through.

I got BLASTED the weekend before I found out I was preggo with my first son and it didn't affect him (Down syndrome is NOT caused by drinking, lol)

I think this has happened to most of us.  I had been out for drinks with my husband a few days before finding out. It's not a problem at that point.

How far long were you? I think I'm maybe four weeks?

Same as Courtcoop, I was out on a works do and drank way too much and then found out a week later I was pregnant, "baby" celebrates her 8th birthday on Monday :-)

You're fine...that happens a lot (I was a lush b4 I knew I was prego)...and smoked to boot.
No harm done.
