Hi Mary,

Yes, it is possible to become pregnant after having tubal surgery.  I Became pregnant seven years later after having tubal ligation surgery.  We lost our baby at 10 weeks, possibly due to low progesterone.  From my research I've done on Medhelp, I've discovered that all things are possible and many women have become pregnant again after various types of tubal surgery and it doesn't seem to matter when, how, or what age it was done.  Some women have become pregnant right away and others years later.  God Bless.

I too highly, highly doubt that you're pregnant especially in light of your tubes being tied for 9 years.  Your symptoms could mean anything like the above poster said, like the flu for example.  If you still have doubts, retake the hpt in a week or so.

Hi Mary,
I highly doubt you are pregnant after tube tying but stranger things have happened. Perhaps you are getting the flu?
Something else must be up...but to put your mind at ease take another test in a week.
