Good luck! I'm 41 and just went through my 1st IVF cycle. Never been pregnant. ..although tests showed my husband and I are normal. I'm a nurse so I wasn't too stressed about injections/procedures etc. No insurance coverage for IVF was the biggest stressor, although I had money set aside but for one cycle only.  I had 10 eggs, 7 fertilized,  5 survived,  & one genetically normal.  Our FET was 10/23. I've been having mild cramping,  hot flashes, breast tenderness.  Our pregnancy test is November 6th.  It has been a good experience overall.  Just the anxiety because I've wanted to be a Mom for so long. Hang in there. Relax as much as possible.

I had IVF 3 years ago.  After 6 tries and 4 miscarriages (one ectopic) I had almost given up.
The clinic were overwhelmed with the "quality of my blastocysts" and I was losing faith.
Then I tried having a hysteroscopy and scrape before a cycle in March.  I remember saying to my fertility doc "well it's got to happen sometime" during transfer... I didn't believe we'd get past early pregnancy then here I am blessed at 35 weeks :-)
Lots of my friends got pregnant really easily (younger or luckier with IVF) and I had to try to feel plain happy for them.  Which was painful but not that hard as I wanted people to be happy.
My advice is be prepared for a long journey. It may be frustrating on the way so have a few close supportive friends and family around you can confide in.
I wish you every bit of luck as I think it is dead special when a mother really wants her child and somehow very precious to have suffered on the journey.

I'm 6 mo pregnant with a singleton after IVF. I had a 1st trimester miscarriage in January from a prior transfer. We tried immediately again with another round of IVF and got pregnant with twins.  One was ectopic unfortunately. The other baby is doing just fine.

Oooops hit POST too early.  We tranferred 2 embryos, one little one made it!  We are doing final testing the 6th of November (lots of tests to choose from when you're 35+ and will find out gender them too!  Any questions let me know!  All the best to you.
