Bleeding in 5th week

I am in my 5th week of pregnancy.  I am 35 and this is my first child. My bleeding started off as a very faint pinkish color and now is a little more prominant.  The color is brownish.  Everything I have read so far makes this sound semi normal.  I have a doctors appointment this morining.

Sorry you are going through this.  It could just be normal if it is brownish.  Def. go to hospital or doctor if it turns red but it doesn't always mean the worst.  I had full on bleeding at 10 weeks with my DD and everyone thought the worst but turned out to be a cyst or something that had burst but all was good and my little girl is now turning 2!!

Good luck with it all!!

It can be implantation bleeding.  Ask for a blood test to check where your hormone levels are.  You did the right thing by scheduling to see the doctor.  If the bleeding gets red, with cramping, see a doctor immediately.  Good luck to you.  Hopefully everything is ok.
