Breastfeeding

I have been breastfeeding my son for almost 2 years in December. I want to stop already but I'm not sure what is the best way to stop. Can anybody help me. I would greatly appreciate it!

I breast fed my first son for a year to wean him, I slowly started to introduce bottle, then sippy. It can be challenging. When he would go for my breast I would push the bottle instead , he resisted at First but he was hungry so he took it.  Try that and see how it goes.

You will be fine and your daughter will be too.

First I'd like to say good job for breastfeeding that long, I personally would be afraid of all those teeth!! Secondly if u want to quit, just gradually stop feeding them so frequently.  Then just don't give it to them anymore and be firm about saying no more boob!

Good on you! I would love to be able to breastfeed that long but my babies seem to just lose interest at 1yr old. Plus I was already pregnant by both their birthdays which pretty much dried up my milk...so possibly that was the reason they stopped... but sorry no advice for weaning :(

I breastfed my daughter till she was 2 yrs old and said it was time to stop when she tried to lift ny shirt in public saying Boob haha...I asked my Dr for pills to dry my milk up but before all that I just made sure she was comfortable with sippy cups before proceeding with the pills.  She did really well...good luck and good for you for going this long :)
