Thank you so much for your suggestions. My husband and I are very appreciative of your advice. It makes us feel better knowing that this is not the end of our dream.
We will never give up.
I agree with the others. I hate to ever sound negative, but it doesn't sound to likely. Another option I have been looking into is embryo adoption. Another member is doing that right now, and the cost is significantly lower then IVF. My DH and I are also currently beggining to pursue adoption. Domestic does not take as long as I initially thought, although we are prepared to take a slightly older child. There are always options depending on how you feel about a child not being genetically "yours'.
I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time, and I wish you all the best.
honestly, it doesn't look good as far as getting pregnant the ol' fashion way... that's just a biological reality you must face. Once you're ready to accept that, then you'll want to look at IVF options... some clinics offer payment plans... and some banks even have special IVF/adoption loans... it cost us 8 000$ and we're still paying off that loan little by little (and no, it didn't work unfortunately).
there is also adoption; domestic is a lengnthly process but not terribly costly. International adoptions are another story...
there are many ways to create a family! I hope you don't give up your dream of becoming parents! It's the best adventure, no matter where the child comes from (your womb or your heart)!
good luck!
I also wanted to add to do some research before undergoing IVF as far as maybe doing acupuncture, taking certain vitamins, etc to help conception. Also you need to know the stats to know your odds of getting pregnant. If IVF is too risky & you want to have a baby, perhaps check out adoptiion as another option.
The ONLY way you can get pregnant, other than immaculate conception, is to do IVF. There's really nothing I can do to help except to tell you that you can finance IVF. At our clinic, it was through Capital One w/a particular low interest rate. I've always found that when there's a will, there's a way.
Good luck!
