Has anyone ever gotten a positive HPT result AFTER the time they usually get one?

In all three of my pregnancies, a positive result came back at 12 dpo (they've also all ended in miscarriage). This month my period is one day late, but I am testing negative. Has anyone ever gotten a positive HPT result AFTER the time they usually get one?

Yes!
Baby #1, 19 dpo
Baby #2, 18 dpo

two m/c, one showed at 10 dpo, one at 11 dpo.  For me, getting early positives was not good.  Never thought of that, you would think it would be the opposite.

I did end up getting my period, but today I am 3 dpo, so the info you gave me is good to know in case my period is late and my HPTs are negative. Thanks! Looks like your pregnancy is going well!!!!!

Thought I'd also mention that my test at 20dpo was very faint.  So far, no appointment to hear heart beat (I am now 9 weeks along).  The waiting is very hard!  Take care...

Hi, yes this has happened to me just with this pregnancy. I have had 8 pregnancies--this is my 9th.  First time ever to get a positive result so late---------20 dpo!  I don't know exactly what that means......or if it means anything.  I only know it also worries me.  Post how you are doing!

i think its just your periods are late or may be its too early to show the positive result.both can be possible. but can take a blood test to confirm. Good luck
