Ultrasound today....
Hi guys! good mo'nin!
I had a miserable day yesterday, and today is right up there... still i don't wanna risk anything or take any medicine and will try to suck it up for the sake of my baby girl... im too scared! =S
Anyway, so last ultrasound's results came up 'inconclusive' as they didn't (or couldn't) see the 4 chambers of Maddie's heart. The doctor said this happens to like 50% of his patients (they are just trying to cover their a$$ in case something is really wrong and they miss it...) and most of them are just fine. So he ordered another follow up u/s just to be on the safe side... and it will be today!!!
I am so excited to see my little girl, how much has she grown and what new things she does (last time we saw her swallowing liquid) and can't wait to see her... but at the same time, im a little worried about that 'inconclusive' cr.p they are talking about..... =( what if something's wrong with her little heart??!?! =/
Anyway, this will be at 5:30pm (east) and i promise i'll get online and update you guys (and maybe even post some pics of her!).... just needed some cheering!! =)

Congratulations on the u/s, so glad to hear everything is ok.. I haven't been on in a while, busy with work and then when I get home I just veg out, I'm so tired lately.Had my gluc. test last week all is well so far so good. Man, May is just around the corner I'm starting to get anxious, I can't to see her, full face and body instead of the side view:)

im really good. ill be 24 weeks this saturday and am too having a little princess! we are very excited. wow 27 weeks i remember ur falling of the roof story and the tooth and all and getting pg and wow!! time really does fly. im so happy to hear how well u are doing:)

You are so freakin cute!!! I had tears in my eyes from reading your description of seeing your little girl!! It's amazing how we can fall in love with someone we haven't actually "Met" yet! You are gonna be a fantastic mama! I am so happy for you!!!

well, see, i had the morfology U/S at around 19 weeks... and then when i went for my 20th appointment to the doc (2 different buildings) then he told me the results were inconclusive.... argh.... and he said the reason is that they saw all the organs and meassured well, but the heart.... but he wasn't too concearned about it since , he said, most of the time, they are in a 'bad' position and the spine makes a shadow, and they just wanna cover their butts if they don't see it super clear on the screen, ya know?
so, that's why he was like 'ok... i know you're a nervous wreck, so we'll just have a follow up to check her heart and make sure she's fine'... and we did! but of course i got to see my little angel's face and all, all over again! =)
I think if they don't tell you to go for a follow up, means your U/S came just fine! CONGRATULATIONS!! =))

That's great news about Maddie! You must have been worried before..how can they send you home with inconclusive results??! But, of course, we ladies on this forum don't have to worry..all our babies are gonna be just perfect lil' angels!
Quick question..when was this 1st u/s scheduled for checking your lil' ones heart? I don't think I've had that yet. I did have the morphology one..they measured organs and that kind of stuff..but I don't remember seeing the heart in those details you mention.. Let me know..thanks! :)

omg... thats funny... my last ultrosound I did the same thing.. thought I was going to have a mistake right there on the table.... the lady even looked at me and said girl you are full....lol... Im just a little shy thing at the hospital so I tried to hide it...NOT...

You guys should've seen the size of my belly last night after chugging friggin' 6-7 glasses of water (i was being a good girl and following instructions for once...) and i was doing the wee-wee dance at the office while waiting... but there was a point where i thought i was literaly gonna let it go! i WAS gonna pee myself! i could barely sit on the darn table.. .(after ridding all the nurses behinds to hurry up!) walking like a penguin... and when she pressed with the thing to see my cervix i thought that was it.... i actually had a very small leak (EMBARRASING!!!) and had to run to the bathroom!!! it took me literaly lik 5 minutes to pass ALL the pee i had in myself! i even heard her tell dh, 'boy, i don't know how she could hold all that in her bladder!' im just thinking 'you beotch! instead of hurrying and letting me in... you take your sweet a$$ time, and you people do that to us pregnant ladies ALL THE TIME!'
they tell us to drink a lot of water before the U/S,.... and then make us wait for at least 1/2 hr.... press our tummies to 'see better' and don't let us go until after the whole thing....
THAT IS BULL!!!!

I am here!!! im so SOOOO sorry i couldn't get online last night to give you the follow up! i was feeling SO darn miserable..... i just flopped on the couch and layed there almost life-less and with my pitiful face... but... SOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We got to see this little precious thing on the monitor... boy! i never thought a human being so little could bring SO much love to my heart!!!
They finally could see ALL the parts of her heart, the valves, the pumps, the pivots, the hoses, the meats, the thinguies that connect to one another and it is SO BEAUTIFUL! her little heart was pumping away like a little restless machine, we got to count fingers and toes.... 20 total!!! yay!!!! we got to confirm she's still a girl and no wee-wee had grown after all.... lol (that would have been hillarious! a little boy wearing ALL pink stuff...), so we saw the 'cheese burger' was still there... and get this!!!: her legs were straight up with her little tooshie down (breech) and her toes were tickling her forehead!!! lol!!! THAT'S MA' GIRL!!!!
she rubbed her nose... (dh said picking out boogers), she yawned.... she got the hiccups......(which i felt them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) AWEEE MY GOD! i am so in love with this little God-sent thing!!!!!!
Her profile is GORGEOUS!! i don't know where she gets all that perfection from, it's almost like she's unreal! she looks like an angel! little button nose, perfect plumpy lips.... little chin, chubby cheeks.... and a PERRRRFECT round head....

The same thing happened to me and I stressed out and even called the dr the next day to tell her that I was worried and upset and she said it is just to be safe and to be sure and so when I went back two weeks later everything was fine. You will be fine too
