No HCG and Pregnancy Symptoms

Has anyone every had an HCG of less that 1 in there system from an early blood test only to find out later you were actually pregnant.  Is this uncommon?  Can you not have enough HCG in your blood until much later after a missed period, because I haven't missed mine yet.

Well I had a semilar situation back in June.  On June 18 I went to dr to have HCG test to see if I was pregnant.  Wanted to be able to tell my husband on Fathers Day if I was.  Test came back negative.  I assumed at that point I was not pregnant.  The next Friday, June 26 I was due to start and didn't so I went and had another test and it showed my levels were at 24.4.  Was told it was just too early for first HCG test to show up.  I have ended up having a miscarriage last week but I wanted to share my experience with you.  Don't give up hope this month until your AF shows up.  Good Luck!

Don't be discourage... I am 38 years old and will be 39 in Oct... I tried to have baby for 21 months... each month I spent alot of money to buy all the fertility medicines and went to see doctor.. I stressed out, depressed, and frustrated.. my husband and I decided to take 2 months break and we would try again in Jun 09...  {that's was in early aprl 09 - my last period}

The story behind all this -  I have been tested all kinds and finally my doctor said one of my left tube was blocked.. I was schedule to have laparascopy in 4/17.  After I had my surgery.. I got pregnant a week after {i suppose not to have intercouse for 2 weeks. we did it anyway without knowing what will do}.. this is an unexpected and miracle pregnancy..

Since all the hassle trying to get pregnant... I realized that when I was in less stress environment, i conceived...

My advise to you: take it easy.. relax, get away from all kinds of drugs and alcohol... reduce your stress, limit your cafeine, start regular exercise, eat healthy diet...

Thanks for the comment - that's what I thought.
I'm 38 and wanted to be, was having symptoms and now this test.
I'm very discouraged - I have no children and my 3 sisters have 6 between them.

No.. That's imposible.  usually when you have HCG <1.. for sure you are not pregnant... could be your AF delay...

When the implatation takes place... HCG will release could detect in urine or blood...
