HCG Used During Transfer

Has anyone heard of your dr using HCG minutes prior to having a frozen embryo transfer? I am 40 and have 2 failed frozen embryo transfers and my doctor is recommending me to do it.

Thank you both for your comments this makes me feel more comfortable with the procedure especially since this is our last go round.

That's where I went to - New Hope in NYC.  I had twin boys in May 2012 from a FET with a donor egg.  Best of luck to you both!

Hi, yes, I had an HCG shot after every transfer :-)  But I just noticed you wrote you are having it prior to the transfer.  I'm not sure if there is a difference when you do get it, but I do know my dr also recommended it as well.
