Ive been induced 3 times and going in on sat to b induced again at 38 plus 6 days I love it it sorted misses out the 1st stage of labour nakes it quicker lol dont worry ha x
If it isn't medically necessary you can refuse to. Labor tends to be a whole lot smoother and quicker when it starts on its own!
Why are they making plans to induce you? Is it medically necessary for you at this point? I understand your concerns and sometimes the baby takes its time to come out, so hang in there. Have you tried hot bath, caster oil, going up and down the staircase. I know that these things induce labor in many women. Speak to your doc if those are proper choices for you. As far as I can tell u avoid getting induced.. its a very painful process for you and it often distresses the baby. So you will be stuck with a cascade of interventions like epidural, petosin, epidural and petosin with an increasing chance of a c section. I ssay speak to your ob again.
