Hello Everyone

Happy New Year to all my old friends and to the new comers.  I know it have been awhile since I posted or even visited the site, I just needed sometime to heal.  Just a little update on my situation since I last spoke with you all. I have had two more miscarriages; had my last one last month on the 17. However, I am still staying hopeful and prayerful. As most of you know I lost my left tube, and now believing that my left ovaries are going as well. " My doctor told me at my last visit that he wasn't seen my left ovaries, but keep in mind that's the side he did the surgery on"  What, because surely he didn't tell me this in 2005. He just told me I lost the tube. I am working with my right tube and ovary only.  Not sure if that has anything to do with the recurring miscarriages or not.  I pray all of you are doing well, and to all of you that's trying don't give up because surely I am not.

Love Yolanda

Thanks Amanda, as always you sure do know how to make a person feel welcome:-) I am happy to be back.

Ecologic, thanks for the positive information...Your story, along with others; is what keep me trying m/c after m/c...I know it will happen for me too soon. I mean every time I get that positive sign I am on cloud nine, so I can't image what I will do once I get that firm heartbeat again:-)

Thanks Ladies

I had an ovarian cyst removed from my left ovary in 2006, my left ovary is still here but the cyst rendered it useless and I had to rely only my right ovary to conceive. I have had 3 miscarriages since then but I don't believe it's because I only have one ovary working. On the plus side of things, I finally was able to have a viable pregnancy at age 40 (I am 22 weeks) so be hopeful that your 1 ovary/1 tube will work for you!

(((Yolanda)).  It's so great to hear from you, although I am so sorry the news isn't more positive.  It breaks my heart to hear you have been through this twice more since we last chatted.  Honey, I don't think it's likely that having only 1 tube/ovary is causing the m/c issue, although I suppose anything is possible.  Have they run any other testing?  I am so glad you aren't giving up your dream.  I am so glad I didn't, and remember how close I came to just calling it quits?  It will happen for you too my friend.  I am going to respond to your pm in a minute, but I am so happy to see you back.  I have missed you as I am sure others have as well.  XOXO
