Hello! New here

Hello everybody!  I just want to introduce myself on this amazing forum.
I hope I'm going to be spending a lot of time here!

I turned 36 y/o last April and have been married with no kids for 3 years. Me and my husband started TTC this month and I'm still waiting to see if we succeeded.  I'm skeptical, considering the age and all, but hopeful. Today is the 25th day of my current cycle;  I have some symptoms, such as nausea, feeling tired and  lower back pain, but I also suffer from food allergies (preservatives and additives in food, which sometimes are hard to avoid), so I don't trust those symptoms.

I bought a pregnancy test yesterday and plan on maybe doing the first one tomorrow morning.  My cycles range from 26 to 30 in length, so I'm probably way too early. I believe I ovulated on the 15th so I don't expect my period before the 29th.

That is all for now! Thanks for reading my post!
I hope all of you are having a nice day,
ATL GIrl

OMG!!!! I repeated the test this morning! It's positive!!!  It is VERY hard to believe!!! I really wasn't prepared for it to happen this fast!  Mind you, I'm not complaining! It feels great!

Tanker Chic thanks for the welcome and congrats on your pregnancy!!! I charted for 3 months a year ago, then the food intolerance kicked in and I had to stop because of sleepless nights, stress, and medications. I agree with you charting really help in understanding your cycle.

I started charting again this month. My temperatures have been elevated for 13 days now, and I can definetely spot a triphasic pattern. According to my book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility, that is a good sign!  My period is due today... I hope it doesn't show up!  I need new bras, this is starting to be way to tight!!

I'm going to have a baby!!!! DH is still sleeping, I can't wait to tell him!

Have a good Sunday everybody!!

Welcome to the forum.  My situation is somewhat similar.  I also turned 36 last april and have no kids.  DH and I have been ttc for two years, and I just recently got my bfp.  I'm 8wk4d right now.

I really recommend charting your basal body temp.  If you google it, there is tons of info on it.  It is really helpful in knowing when you ovulated and if you timed intercourse correctly.  It takes a lot of the wondering out.   Best of luck to you.. keep us posted on your progress!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm at work now I can't stay long... I did the test this morning and came back negative. I didn't have the one you said, mlb1234.  I hadn't done any research before buying it and it looks like I got one of the most unreleable if not THE most! It was ANSWER.
Feeling weird today too. Bloated, mild mestrual cramps, and mild nasuea.

Thanks again everybody!  I really hope I'm going to have good news to post soon. I'm very glad I found this forum!
