Sex at 37 weeks

my boyfriend and I want to have sex but his to scared to hurt me or the baby or to break the water bag my question is. Is it safe to have sex at 37 weeks?

I heard it helps labor unless doc says other wise so go at it girl lols :')

That's what I've been telling him after the baby is 6 more weeks plus we just need to be careful but enjoy it at the same time

I've read that semen softens the cervix in late pregnancy and the big O can bring on contractions but those aren't bad things.  Your doc would tell you if it was risky so tell him not to worry (if that's possible)!  Doc will tell you to wait 6 wks after delivery and it could be longer if you have stitches/pain

It is perfectly safe. It Just may be uncomfortable,  depending on how big your belly is.  It is just an old wives tale that is will cause you to go into labor. Besides you won't be able to for a while after the baby is born.
