Good luck on the 2ww. I will keep fingers and toes crossed for you! And again, if your Dr. was really worried about that blob, there is no way he would encourage you to ttc this cycle, so no worrying ok!! Just get BDing and make that baby!!!! Truckloads of SSBD coming your way......
Day 14 us showed lead follicle on right is 10mm max (actually down from 11mm three days ago). But the left is now 18mm (up from 11mm three days ago). I will trigger tomorrow, then intercourse. Then the lovely 2ww. I can't believe the progress in just a few days :)
If no pregnancy, they he wants to investigate this white mass, blob, cyst, whatever you call it. It measured just under one inch today. It has not grown since we first saw it a year ago.
Amanda, you are fine :) Let's just say you have baby on the brain! I always appreciate your feedback.
And once again short term memory loss has apparantly kicked in for me. Just realized you and I have discussed this twice through pm and I just repeated myself yet again...lol. Sorry kristine, you are very patient with me....
Thanx Amanda. You are right, he is really not worried about the white blob. He emphasized that to me. So I'll try not to worry either.
You and I do have similar situations.
I started clomid to hopefully help with egg quality. Best guess, I am having an "age" issue- old eggs, poor quality, etc. We were hoping the clomid would help eggs mature and release better quality. But it is very odd that I seem to be developing a whole new set of problems that weren't there before clomid. So I will definitely discuss as you suggested. I conceived on first round clomid, mc. Second round did not conceive. Now, third round, this- tiny follicle and possibly developed cyst.
Geez. I don't know :( It's crazy.
A couple of thoughts spring to mind...keeping in mind of course that I am certainly no expert. Clomid can cause cysts and also overstimulate ovaries. I got a cyst with it, and when I stopped the clomid it went away. A cyst is what makes the most sense to me. You and I have similar histories...I had 5 m/c before conceiving this little guy, and I am now 40. I am curious as to why you began clomid? I tried it for 4 or 5 cycles in order to boost progesterone and give me a better chance at a healthy egg. Is that what you and your Dr. had in mind as well? Funny thing is, while on clomid is the only time I didn't conceive...at all. Not once. If your ovarian reserve is good and you and your partner have been able to conceive on your own, I am wondering if your not having the same issue. It has that impact on about 20% of women, and many Dr.'s wont prescribe it at all to us older moms to be. Anyway, just thinking out loud, but wondering if it's not worth discussing with your Dr. Sorry, I am probably not much help here, but it's all I can come up with. I can say that if your Dr. thought the white blob was anything really serious, I doubt he would be waiting to further investigate, so he is obviously not overly worried. I wish you luck and I truly hope this is your month. Good luck!!!
