42 and pregnant with 4 th

Couple weeks ago my doctor put me on baby aspirin do to my age.  I just turned 42 and am 17 weeks pregnant.  I have 3 children.  22,21, and 16.  I had 2 miscarriages last year and my doctor said in order to have another 1 I would have to take progesterone for 6 months.  We decided not to have any so I never went back to the doctor.  What a surprise being pregnant!!! As you can see I had all my kids young so I'm a little nervous about this pregnancy.  Any thoughts?  Just need a little encouragement right now. Ty

Hi.  I'm 45 and 21+ weeks pregnant.  Quite a surprise.  I had 3 m/c's before and no children. I've been on asprin since finding out about the pregnancy.  I wish you all the best.  I'm finding my pregnancy, at 45, even with the scares of genetic testing and so forth, to be such a wonderful blessing.  It helps too that my OB and my high risk OB have both commented that I'm not too old to be having this baby LOL  Again, best wishes to both you and your little one!

I am 15 weeks pregnant.  I have had 7 miscarriages so far. I have been on a baby asprin since my fist appointment.  I had to do the progesterone pills for the first trimester and now have to do the daily blood thinner shots in the belly.  I m starting to be convinced this baby is going to male it. This has been my best pregnancy so far.  I hope that helps.   I have even been able to stay working.   Good luck.
