I'm a nervous reck until I test for pregnancy

I have no common sense at this point. I am so desperate to conceive so I booked a trip to Puerto Plata and by the time I come back it will be time to test on November 6th.
Some of you might think I'm ridiculous...I'm so sorry but I need support. I'm 37 and if I get pregnant it will be the biggest accomplishment of my life.

Don't be so hard on yourself, I am also trying to get pregnant and feel so depressed that it hasn't happened.  I already have to little boys but I would love to add another one to our family.  I think it's great that you went on a trip, I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves, like it's "all" our fault. Maybe relaxing is just what you need.  Have you tried some fertility drugs? I have just taken my first round of clomid and I will find out on Friday if it worked. I wish you all the best and hang in there, it's all in God's time..

I have the clomid I haven't tried it. I just got it. How did you take it? 100mg on the 3rd day of your period for 5 days? Thank you for your support. I am going away Wednesday.
I hope when I get back I'll be pregnant and if not I will start my cycle. It will be the first time. How did you take it and did you have any side effects?
I will have you in my prayers while i am in puerto plata on friday by the time I get back I will find out if you're pregnant. Oh my God i am so happy and hopeful for us.

I didn't get pregnant I just got my period. Now I have an ovarian cyst they found the other day which is suspicious for ovarian cancer on ultrasound
I'm gonna follow treatment once I get the results of my ca 125. Cancer marker for ovarian ca.
I will start the clomid on day 3 of my period regardless. Needless to say I am devastated.

I don't know what I would do without you. I will probably follow you advice. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and If i ever get pregnant which is a long shot wherever you are we are coming to thank you.

so sorry to hear that you didn't get the + this month.  If you get the go ahead from your doctor, try the Clomid - along with IUI it was a miracle for us!  For now though, we are keeping our fingers crossed that your results for the cyst will all be negative!  Keep us posted.

Thank you so much guys. I am in tears...I pray that the cyst is not cancerous and I pray for my future children: Christian, Sumara and Sulay They are fictitious names.
The journey is painful. I also pray for my pregnant friends on the forum.

if you take clomid you need to do it under the care of a doctor... a gal on here just got pg with triplets with clomid the dose has to be monitored as well as it can cause thinning of the lining of the uterus which was my case and I had to get off of it... please don't try to do it alone.  Also you should figure out the whole cancer thing before... you don't want to get pg if you need to begin treatment for anything...  what is your age?

Right after this post I discovered I had 2 ovarian cysts the doctor thought they were cancerous but they were benign. Surgery was December 3rd 2007. Needless to say the pregnancy test was negative. I have to recover from surgery and Anesthesia and then I will see a fertility specialist for artificial Insemination. For now i will start folic acid and prenatal vitamins.
