Implantation Question?

When you have Implantation is it usually around the time of your period or is it suppose to be before the time of your period? I should have gotton my period on the 2nd or 3rd of April and its now the 4th whitch isn't that bad of being late but I have been experiencing some small like pains in my boobs the last 2 days and been feeling kinda of crampy the last 2 days but no period showed up yet? Could it possibly be Implantation?

I was trying up to about 2 months ago then gave up and thought if it happens it happens I was getting tired of putting  us on a timed event type thing...lol
But thought some of you could maybe give me some input on your thoughts...I am nervouse to go buy a test being its only 1 day late...I don't want to jump to conclusions.

I usually don't get crampy around the time of my period. Its just there all the sudden then I get soome discomfort and nothing that I.B. profen can't handle.

implantation take place 6-10 days after ovulation,

Implantation bleeding is usaully in between that time but may also be spotting around your period time.

I hear a 'lot' of woman buy First Response when they test. Suppose to be a pretty accurate test. I will be picking one up Friday/Sat. and see what it has to tell me.

As for 'when' to test? I believe a lot of woman get there 'best' results 15 days and beyond after they O. But if you have already missed your period I would take one now.
I took a test last Sat. when I was a day late for my af and it came up Neg. So I thought I'd try one more time this weekend and see what it had to tell me. I have just never skipped a period like this unless I was preg-o. And to see a neg. last weekend really blew my mind.
And to top it off, where are these sore boobs coming from if I'm 'not' pregnant. I don't get it and soooo confused. And will be even MORE confused about my next test I take if its a BFN.

My last 2 periods have started and finished with brown blood then red on middle 2 days, I am 48 so not sure if this is early mc or start of menopause but very early on in this cycle I was nauseous on several occasions and have also had cramping on and off, cycled 29days then last month 25days so at day 22 today and have not got the usual sore heavy breasts I would have at this time....could I be pregnant??? When is the best time to test and which test is the best (most sensitive?) Missmom you sound like you could very well be pregnant to me as your cycle is so different from the usual. I have just only went from tenderness to sore boobs. But its only on the sides of my boobs that are sore right now. Maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me. I still get discomfort here and there in my abdomen area. But nothing like it was.

I am going to buy a test Friday so I can take it again Sat. If it comes up Neg. again I dunno what I am to think of this feeling I am having. And I will be wondering where the
heck Miss red head had disappeared to???

Has anyone heard of having sore breast on the side and really gasy with no af in sight???

I'm sooooo nervous to take this test again its not even funny.

Also i had funny cramps on the inside of my leg , caming from pubic area and down,

Sorta stopped me in my tracks, not painful but noticible.

I had cramping, 8dpo

My cerxic was so low i could touch it just inside,

It was soft, and wet white cm(almost milky)

My breast weren't really sore just  heavy, and got like pimples around nipple.

I felt so tied like id run a marathon,

After i ate i felt really bloated,
And off colour in the mornings

My cramps i had most of the time like you said like af caming,

But also like little stabbing pains, in abdomial area, and pubic area.

I didn't get positive test till 13dpo just faint then got darker.

jbrooks, I really appreciate your offer on your information but we stopped 'trying' and decided if it happened it happened. We didn't want to make it part of the chores around
her along with a timed event...If you know what I mean...lol
But I did have some clear cm the day my period was to arrive and now thats it. So I am just sooooo confused about this. I have never in my life missed a period like this unless it was because of a pregnancy. But with the neg. test it really is throughing me for a loop.

I think it really depends on the person.  Some people can test anytime of day and get a positive and others will only see a + in the morning.  I had a negative one day and a positive the next.  You may want to check out fertility friend and look at the pregnancy charts this will give you an idea of when others get a +. i wanted to come and explain to you that ovulation happens after your period. usually about 10 to 14 after your period(typical but not always with everyone) you will get eggwhite cervical mucus(you will feel wet/slippery) that is the optimal time to conceive,i have alot of info in my journal if you would like to read it. we are trying with donor sperm and alot of the info is for insemination but there is info on timing for conceiving,good luck to you..

When do you take a ept test? I had cramping in my lower area when I should have been getting my period. But I am now 3-4 days late. I took a test this morning to just see and it was a neg. so am I to early yet or is that a true neg.?

its not a dumb question but im experiencing the same right now with slight spotting.  So Im going to call my Dr and ask about it in the morning.

I think implantaion spotting should happen around the time you expect your period.  I had it with both my children and it was very dark almost brown in color.  Hope this is your month!
