IBU in the last trimester is a big No No.
Go to urgent care if you can if you've had the uti for a week or more. They can get pretty nasty with us prego women. Our immune system is not as strong
I would not take. Call and see what else you can take for uti, that's safe.
Wanting to take it to help w UTI symptoms, until I can get to the Doc's for Tx.
I wouldnt take it. Everything ive seen says no to motrin, advil, etc. Pregnancy is full of discomforts, we gotta learn how to deal with them :/ whats causing you to want to take it?
My doctor recommend me taking baths to helps with the round ligament pain. Before getting pregnant I was taking prescribed 800mg ibuprofen regularly for migraines but I stopped before getting pregnant. Doctors told me that was good because it is a blood thinner and wpuld increase my chances of miscarriage and birth defects
MREEAH
I know isn't it ridiculous my old OB information is so outdated she actually told me no tub baths lol
Needless to say I switched doctors
Its all weighing the risks and benefits of everything. There have been studies showing that ibuprofen use (or any NSAID for that matter) can increase.your risk for baby developing a congenital heart defect or having reapiratory/ cardiac issues at birth. If your Dr recommends it for you than I'd say its okay to take but I wouldn't unless your specific Dr tells you its okay.
Ive never heard of drs denying tub baths, they simply remind not to make the water too hot because baby could overheat.
Anyway youve talked to your dr about it but they usually go on risks vs benefits. NSAIDS are not reccommended during pregnancy. If you can take Tylenol then it is highly recommended you stay on that. But talk to your dr about it and get his input.
doctors also tell pregnant women not to take tub baths because there's a chance they're going to make the water too hot because people tend to always overdo things like medication
I don't recommend ibuprofen if you been bleeding in your pregnancy or if you're taking any other medication that could conflict with ibuprofen
I'm currently on my 6th pregnancy and having my fourth child and ibuprofen is the only thing that has ever gotten rid of my headache the doctor recommended dose is no more than 400 milligrams in 24 hour If you are pregnant
TMMB and ramyamommy ibuprofen advil motrin are all the same and CAN NOT be taken its dangerous... ive had 5. Kids and seen numerous doctors they've allsaid no its dangerous.. I'm not being snotty or rude just. Don't want to see anyone taking it can be harmful to ur babies... like others said good ole Tylenol.. good luck
Never ib profin. It's very bad. It's a blood thinner
YOU CAN TAKE IBUPROFEN JUST NOT MORE THAN 400 MILLIGRAMS IN 24 HOURS
No ibuprofen during pregnancy. Just good ol Tylenol.
No I don't think you can take that at all while you are pregnant just regular Tylenol
