Kinda worried now

ok so for the past week I've been having killer headaches and tylenol doesn't touch it.....so i called my OB to see if there is anything else I can take well the nurse started asking me a ton of questions....like how's your eye site....I told her the past week anything farther than 10 feet is blurry.  So she said before she can call anything in for me she needs for me to check my blood pressure.  Now I'm worried what if I do have high blood pressure then what?

Heck I do too and so Does DH we have dump trucks so I see them even when I get home....LOL

well my blood pressure was 141/89  they called me in darvocet's and they did the trick....

Please try to get some effect ear protection.  It can't help your headache to have all that noise.  Also, I find that disel fumes give me bad headaches and you work in a lot of them.  Can you get your company to get you fitted for a respirator?  That would probably be best for you in general.  Please check the BP, just to be safe.  If it is good, then go to an optomitrist.  My eyesight changed ALOT when I was PG with my son.  On a completely different note, I have to tell you that the afore mentioned son would consider your job site a dream vacation destination! "LOOK LOOK LOOK!  Trucks!  Ex-vators!"

I'll have to try it when I get home but at a Rock Quarry there is no quiet spot...only 1 1/2 more hours til I'm outa here.....ahhhh....it sounds like a construction site here all day long you here dump trucks you here loaders you here Big Cat Trucks you here the driller you hear the blasting.....and since I run the scalesI get to hear my wonderfully loud printer....and the scales make and aweful clank when a truck pulls on or off....

yea.. brown eyes... With your heart rate up like it has been.. you have to be very careful on what you take for the pain. It  can raise your heart rate up. wich will also raise your bp. and so on....

The only thing that helps me with headachs are you go into a dark quiet room... close your eyes and vision a judges mallet pounding and that pounding is your headach...
Now ... in your thoughts take that mallet and throw it as hard as you can into outerspace. really see the mallet tossing and turning pass the planets and into the dark stary sky... then slowley open your eyes..
It takes some really good concertration... you may need to do it twice in case you dont know how to relax enough...
It really works.. try it.. only takes a few min also... its amazing...

I do have glasses but don't wear them they just make my head hurt worse....

i also had killer headaches! turned out i needed glasses, lol. do u wear glasses maybe u should have ur eyes checked for that. my headaches were much better after that. hope u feel better soon :)

My dr. said they were headaches from hormones. He did allow aspirin up until 20 weeks and I took it!

my next appt is the 24th.....My heartrate's been alot better this week now if I'm up and at em then it gets a little raised but it's not as noticeable anymore.....guess my body was just working in over time for  bit.....I'm hoping the headaches are from something else....I kinda wonder if it isn't from work...I work at a Rock Quarry so the exhaust from the trucks and equiptment is  pretty strong at times.

I have insane headaches this week too and we are exact same as far as weeks.  Although you will have your lil ones way before me I am sure.  I was looking up a lot of info and found that 2nd trimester can have an increase in headaches.  Good to check your bp though.  I don't think I have high bp, so I am holding out until my next appt on the 20th .  Let me know how you make out.

My FIL has a BP machine at home so I told them when I got home I'd check it and let them know.....he lives like 1/8 of a mile away from us....so no biggie.

Yeah, I would check your bp at a drug store.. how is your heartrate doing??? I hope you  are feeling better with that =)

Sometimes the headaches could be from your teeth, I too have had the headaches and now Im thinking it's another bad tooth I only get em when Im preggers.

go into a store and check it yourself for peace of mind.. a store that has those machines you can sit down in for free... I have high blood pressure have for 2 years and I am on meds to control it.. it has been fine throughout the pg... If meds don't control it they will put you on modified bed rest.. but try not to stress.. I got really bad headaches when I was around 15w ones that lasted 4 days and tylenol wouldn't help at all either... go check yours just to know  good luck
