inducing??

Hi ladies So im 40weeks and 2days and have to get induced on wednesday and im really nervous..ive heard so many stories on getting induced i was just wondering is it worst then going into labor naturally ?

My first kid was 12 days late. Doc kept pressuring me to induce, but I kept refusing. I was nervous about the pitocin and the increased likelihood of a c section. Kid was passing all the tests (fluid was fine, weight was fine, non stress tests were great), so he couldn't force induction before two weeks (14 days) past due. I got two sessions of acupuncture to induce labor - it totally worked. I highly recommend it if you have an experienced acupuncturist in your area.

I'm getting induced in 7 days and I have heard as well that it can be painful but also that it can lead to having to have a c section, which is something that makes me very nervous.

My doctor never mentioned anything like that but ill ask about it at my docs app..im a first time mom so im new to all this lol

Cant they strip ur membrens? If its thats what its called again. Like stretching U down there so it make U mature

I have been induced twice and yes it can because your body goes straight into hard labor at least that is how it was for me. I would rather go naturally. But the best thing is to be relaxed and know that it will be worth it.
