Help need advice!

Hi everyone Saturday night I got abdominal pain so bad I thought I was going to die and I was rushed to hospital im 18weeks pregnant and everything with baby is ok..  They told me it was my gallbladder that was inflammed :( I cant get surgery because im pregnant so they say I need to get on a special diet has anyone had this problem if so any advice on what I can eat? They told me to stay away from fatty foods and fried food etc. ..

Oh, and fizzy drinks were my enemy!!! Get skimmed or 1% milk as the fat in milk turns into acid too.

I had my gallbladder out a year ago and I can totally sympathise. I thought I was having a heart attack it was so sore. Keep a diary of foods that set you off. I found acidic fruits like orange, heavy dairy foods like cheese and cream. I couldn't eat macaroni cheese! :-( Definitely anything fried set me off too. Try to eat small regular meals to keep the stomach acid down too. Good luck hun :-)
