baby dropped?

Hey ladies I'm a few days shy of 30 weeks and my belly is a lot lower and I feel like my son has dropped. This is my second baby but it has been 16 years since my last pregnancy! Do you think its possible already and does this mean anything

I go in next week for the start of my every 2 weeks. I can see and feel he has dropped and last u/s he was head down already. I'm being induced at 39 weeks so I didn't know if him dropping already meant anything or not

It could mean you'll go early, it could mean you'll be really uncomfortable for a bit. I'm 23 weeks and my bitsy girl is already down very low. Starting next week, I'll go in every other week. She is my 5th.
