We just survived Hurricane Gustav-OT

Hey everyone,

Wow, all I can say is thank goodness that is over. Hurricane Gustav just got done charging through Louisiana. We live in Lafayette (about 2 hours away from New Orleans) and we were right in the middle of the whole thing.  We have some minor damage but we cannot complain too much. I prayed to my sweet little Angel Cooper the whole time.  I know he never left our side.

Sadly our neighbors pine tree fell an took out the whole left side of their house. Thank God they were not in there. I freaked out because I saw the whole thing. I called 911 and they could not send help until about 4 hours later due to the storm.

To top things off we have decided to ttc this month and you guessed it, this would be the big "o" week.  I hope, I am not sure if my cycle is compelety back. I did have one cycle after stopping pumping. I am waiting to see the smiley face anyday now! I sure hope this does not take as long as it did to concieve Cooper. I really can't handle much more heartache.

Well, I just wanted to let you guys know about all the fun of living in Louisiana!!!

Take care,
Rachel

Thanks ladies! Your kind words mean so much!! I am so glad to hear you guys still think about Cooper. I am sure he still checks in on all his mommy's medhelp buddies!!!

I will try to stay in better touch, it is just hard for me to visit sometimes. I am always thinking of you guys, but most importantly I am always praying for you! This forum has given me so much support and I so thankful for all of you!!!

Rachel, I was thinking about you, and was wondering how you were doing.  I am so glad that you weathered that awful storm without too much damage, and that you and DH are doing well.  I have no doubt sweet Cooper was protecting his wonderful mommy and daddy.  Good luck in TTC, I truly hope it happens quickly and easily for you.  I have been keeping all of you in my daily prayers, and I will continue to do so.  Take care Rachel, and it is good to hear from you.

Hugs...Amanda
