I've noticed for the last week my dog has been acting strange,  constantly staring at me, very uneasy like he has to go out every 5 min,  always by my side more than normal it seems,  the cat even came over to my bed last night and laid on my stomach for about 3 to 5 minutes.

My dog wont let any other dogs near me. She growls and nips them. A friend of mine noticed it and put it together that she must know I'm pregnant because her dogs did the same to her when she was. My doggie never leaves my side and mouths everything anyway. I get nervous she will react badly when the baby comes.

My chihuahua got depressed for a while, but I started giving her more attention and she eventually came out of it. She's always been protective of me, but in the last month (after her depression) she has become even more protective. It's so funny watching her stand up to our lab and my friends large labradoodle.
