It varies from person to person. Mine healed w/in a couple of months. If it's a little blood, I didn't worry. But I would mention that to my doctor.

I healed pretty quickly after my c-section I had Steri strips and after 3 weeks of them being on my husband slowly took them off for me. Its been 9 months now since I had it and I'm slowly getting feeling back now but I healed quite nicely :) yes its normal to bleed then stop I bled for a few days then it stopped all together.

I had dissolvable stitches and it healed pretty quick. No bandages on it after about 10days, felt pretty normal again after about 2wks, and was back to normal life (lifting, driving etc) but carefully by 4wks. 14mths later I can hardly see the scar and am getting ready for my next one. As for postpartum bleeding, mine was on and off for weeks but then I didn't get my period back for 3mths.

*I went back to my everyday life, the same day I left the hospital. But a couple of months is when the random shooting pains stopped and it didn't hurt to touch it. A year later, I've regained a lot of feeling, but its still numb in some places.*
