Postive Test at 10dpo and Right Side Pain

Has anyone had intermittent pain on the right side when testing positive early for pregnancy?  I have been getting faint positives for the past 2 days and I have a dull pain that comes and goes on the right side near my ovary.  I know it would be too early for pain to develop due to ectopic pregnancy, but I'm wondering if it is a cyst.  I have also read that corpus luteum cysts can cause postive pregnancy tests.  Does anyone know if that is true?

Thank you so much for the comment... that makes me feel much better!  This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember cramping like this with my son, but I know each pregnancy can be different.  Thanks again!

After you ovulate the corpus luteum provides you with progesterone.  I had an ecotpic back in March 07 and had no pain.  When I got pg again about 3 months later, I was so paranoid about another ectopic and I also had a dull ache on my left side.  Well it was not an ectopic and dr said it was probably from the corpus luteum and is completely normal and fades away on its own.  He was right!!

Congrats on your BFP!!
