My mother had her tubes tied after I was born. She got pregnant 14 years later and I have an awesome little brother. No reversal and no IVF. All natural. So no matter what you decide; believe in miracles. Good luck! :)
Ive done IVF. Between the meds and the procedure we spent somewhere between $9,000 and $15,000. Not sure how much it is to get tubal reversed. Good luck.
I was not pregnant and recently had a tubal reversal done at the end of Jan, 2015. Currently, it's only Feb 2nd and everything seems to be okay. My incisions have healed well. I'll let the community know what becomes of the situation as time goes on. =)
Thank you. Kinda what I'm thinking too :) Now just need money. Sigh!
Thank you and congrats! Always great to hear positive stories <3
Good luck and God bless you.
I too had tubal ligation in 2006. Cut and ends burned. I remarried and wanted to give my husband a child. We had my tubes put back together october of 2013 by Dr. Mor in Los Angeles. It was outpatient surgery. Go in the morning and afternoon you are on way home. Even did a free sperm count b4 procedure too make sure husband was up to par. The best part of this story is that we are expecting. 9weeks today. We tried for months and nothing. We bought a clearblue fertility monitor and the first month we were blessed.
I had ivf because firstly the chances of getting pregnant naturally are lower even for normal couples (50%after 6months of trying every month) than with ivf and we had to have intervention of some sort because I'd had an ectopic and only have one tube and hubby is completely infertile so we're using donor sperm.
I'd argue that ivf success is just as much up to God as having major reversal surgery (having had some ivf failure too I can't see any other reason for it) and trying that way. Neither are officially how nature intended. So why not save yourself the pain of surgery and go with what the docs say gives you the best chance of getting a healthy child? Good luck
