I'm finding this pregnancy most difficult compared to previous pregnancies.

I am a wife, and mother to five children ages 15,2@14,11&8 years old. I am 39 and in my 20th week of pregnancy.
I'm having lots of pressure and discomfort and am always exhausted. I anticipated that this pregnancy would be harder on my body but I'm truly anxious considering I have 20 more weeks of pregnancy. Any advice?

I think pregnancy is harder when we're older. Don't forget that you have 4 others all requiring attention and love, a household to run and a partner to look after. All that without pregnancy is very full on.

You're now past the difficult 1st trimester so your energy levels may pick up over the coming weeks. I used my 2nd trimester to prepare everything as I knew I'd be useless in my third. I cooked loads and stocked the freezer with about 8 weeks of meals meaning I wouldn't have to stress about dinners with a small baby. Hope things get better for you x

I hear you. I'm 33 on #5 and is nothing like my others. This is my 11th pregnancy though. I don't have the energy to get off the couch constant head aches and body aches. I'm chucking it up to it being #5 and not age though. I heard baby 5 is a door
