What do the doctor's do when you're pregnant at 37?

Just found out I'm pregnant and go to Dr's on Friday. I also had tubal reversal done in May 2015. So anyone with any input would be highly appreciated.

Hi I had my fist baby at 42 IVF.  After the age of 35 your pregnancy is considered high risk so more test will be required  and suggested. I'm now 43 pregnant w/my second child IVF, just did a bunch of test but this time around I won't do the genetic testing since my first baby was very healthy and they're from the same sober badge.

I'm 39 and I'm not being treated as high risk....

I'm not sure what you're asking.  I'm 39 and the doctors haven't done anything differently this time compared to when i was pregnant at 35.

I'm 39 27 weeks....if anything it feels more laid back. I was offered tests. But I thought I WOULD have had a different ob plan as well.

The screening and the ultrasound formula por chromosome check up, nothing else, the best!

I am 37 with baby #4 as well. They really don't do much different other than offer some additional testing such as genetic and testing for downs etc. I was on a normal monthly OB schedule and just hit my 3rd trimester. Now my doc will increase the visits to every 2 weeks and we will have a few more sonograms just to check on baby and make sure she isn't under stress (this risk can increase slightly with age). You are considered "advance maternal age" once you are 35 or over.

I was in my middle 20is when I had my other children. It's been 12 years since then. I was wondering if if they test for abnormalities or treat pregnancy different because of my age?

I had all the same tests as last time (which included the quad screen and nuchal fold test for trisomy disorders).
